Timely warning for all Texans!

Texans face double threats at this time!

Public information distributed by one Texas county, that Texans can expect public service disruptions in cell phone service, and shortages, in food, general supplies, and fuel this weekend due to a population influx to the Texas Hill Country to watch the solar eclipse.

Additionally, the State of Texas is under a heightened terrorism watch status due to an increase of radical Islamic attacks in other parts of the USA and the world. The Texas Department of Public Safety is requesting that law abiding residents submit tips about suspicious activity regarding potential acts of violence or other disruptive crimes by calling 1-844-643-2251 or at iwatchtexas.org.

Most of us do not encounter these types of events on a regular basis, so please use discretion if you are going to make a tip or a report. Be advised that your calls can be tracked and recorded, as can any web submissions.

I know we are all aware of the many who cross the border into Texas illegally. We can be assured that not all of those are good people seeking asylum, and that the threat of Hamas terrorists sneaking into our state to do damage to Christians and those who support Israel is a very real and present danger.  Be wise in determining your actions this weekend. It might be prudent to avoid large crowds that make target points for terrorist activity. If you need gas, get it now. Everyone possible to have a full tank of gas, plenty of food and water and alternate forms of cooking and preparing food available.

This warnings is especially pertinent to Texas area 1, but all residents of the state should practice wisdom in this matter. Use Texas common sense and caution when dealing with unusual circumstances. Be good to your neighbors and warn them.
