Even if you aren't local, please support your neighbors! The last Town Hall was supposed to be a Q&A session but wasn't. This one will be but please read through the details so you don't miss out on being able to ask questions.
Please join your neighbors tomorrow, Tuesday, December 5th, at 5:30pm for a Town Hall Q&A session. The last meeting left many people unheard and frustrated as they were not able to ask questions or get answers to some of their most pressing concerns. Below are directions for those who wish to ask questions in person, or submit virtually.

From the City of Sweet Home:
"We would like to invite you to a Water Quality Question & Answer Session at the Jim Riggs Senior Center on Tuesday, December 5th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM conducted by the City. To try to give as many people as possible the opportunity to speak, all participants providing comments or asking questions will be given up to two minutes to speak. Each person may only sign up once.
This is a City of Sweet Home event and currently, there will be no other entities available for questions and answers at this session (including the US Army Corps of Engineers). Please keep all questions related to issues within Sweet Home’s control to ensure we are able to share information and answer the questions asked.
On the day of the meeting, the City will be taking speaker sign-ups in advance of the meeting by phone (541-367-8969) or email ([email protected]) from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You do not have to submit your questions or comments in advance if you are using this method, though you may if you would like. Your full name and address are required if you want to be placed in the queue.
If you will not be able to attend in person but would like to have your questions or comments read aloud at the meeting, you may also call or email on Tuesday, December 5th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Again, your full name and address are required if you want to be placed in the queue. Any pre-submitted questions lacking these pieces of information, or which contain profanity, personal attacks, or otherwise disruptive content will not be considered for inclusion in the queue.
Additional speakers will be allowed to register in person at the Jim Riggs beginning at 4:45 PM. Again, you do not have to submit your questions or comments in advance if signing up via this method. Sign-ups will close at 5:30 PM when the meeting begins. As with pre-registration, your full name and address will be required. All speakers will be called in the order of their registration. If we are not able to get to you and your questions by 7:30, we will plan to host another meeting.
Requests to sign up via any method listed above prior to 12/5 or outside the given hours will not be included.
We will attempt to live-stream the meeting via Microsoft Teams, but due to the IT capabilities at the Jim Riggs Center, there may be challenges with audio. We will not be accepting questions submitted through Teams during the meeting. The meeting will appear under "Community Meetings" on the live-stream site but again, we cannot guarantee that the audio will be great. We will make every attempt to record the meeting to be shared at a later date.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through this difficult time as a community, and we look forward to seeing and hearing you on Tuesday.
This information is also available on our website."
